Lane Simmons
CoAgMET Manager

Lane Simmons has been the CoAgMET manager since 2023, coming to the Colorado Climate Center from the College of Agriculture Sciences, where he managed the weighing lysimeter project at the Arkansas Valley Research Center in Rocky Ford, and served as a CoAgMET technician in southeastern Colorado for sixteen years. Lane is based at the CSU Arkansas Valley Campus in Rocky Ford, Colorado.

Peter Goble
Assistant State Climatologist

Peter uses CoAgMET data for weather and climate research. He has also helped expand soil moisture and ET monitoring for the network, and is also managing CoAgMET-lite stations related to the Colorado wine-grapes project.

Kristie Davis
Technician and Data Analyst

Kristie worked for the network while she was a student at CSU. Graduating in 2024, she now a team member based along the northern front range of Colorado.

Ty Blacklock
Technician and Data Analyst

A CoAgMET team member since 2025, Ty is based in at the CSU Western Colorado Campus in Grand Junction Colorado.

State Climatologist

As Director of the Colorado Climate Center, Russ helps oversee activities related to CoAgMET.

Mostafa Elkady

System Administrator

Mostafa provides technical support for CoAgMET. He ensures data flow to the server is working, and also provides back-end support for the website.
